HERiTAG Georgia Advisory Board Meeting 01
This first founding meeting of the HERiTAG Georgia Advisory Board (AB-GE), consisting of the visible representatives of stakeholders (geospatial information technology, cultural heritage and tourism economy sectors from governmental, non-governmental, sectoral association, education and private sectors) and partner project managers was held on 02 June 2017, hosted at the Ilia State University (ISU).
After the presentation of the project and its activities the participants were kindly invited to sign the HERiTAG Georgia Advisory Board Member Agreement, which is available for download at this link.
After the presentation of the preliminary results and analysis of the stakeholder and student surveys on spatial information technology (GIT) education needs and opportunities in cultural heritage and tourism sectors, conducted within the framework of the project, the HERiTAG Georgia Advisory Board concluded its first meeting with an interesting discussion session concerning the potential for the application of GiT in tourism and cultural heritage sectors.
Georgian Partners of the HERiTAG Project would like to express their gratitude towards the Members of the newly establish Advisory Board for lively discussions held and for agreement to participate in this important forum.
